SAP Technical Pre-Sales (SE)

If you are a Software Sales Engineeror dedicated SAP professional who is passionate about data, solutions and working with SAP customers and their SAP environments, we want to talk with you. We are looking for qualified, experienced and passionate candidates who will assist our inside and field sales team(s) in a technical Pre-Sale capacity through presentations, demonstrations, site visits, and Proof of Concepts to support establishing and building a trusted relationship with our customers and prospects. All of these activities are to be in close cooperation with the sales person for each account so as to progress toward the business “close” expeditiously. We need an individual with solid communications skills who is great with presenting and product demonstrations, either remotely or in-person at customer sites, or even at industry events and trade shows. You will be working closely with multiple sales reps and driving the product demos. You have to remain current with the product functions and features, and with competitive products in the markets the company serves.


Support the Attunity SAP product sales effort, focusing on the Gold Client (Test Data Management) and Replicate for SAP (Data Replication) solutions,providing technical Pre-Sales knowledge during entire sales process, from qualification to close. This could include, but not limited to:

  • Work with Sales on Technical qualification, matching customers’ requirements to the appropriate Attunity solution.
  • Complete Request for Proposals (RFP) or Technical Questionnaire’s
  • Conduct full product demonstrations, including Q&A and providing technical deep dives, when necessary
  • Conduct technical product webinars for broader audience of recorded playback
  • Present Attunity solutions at SAP events, such as chapter ASUG events
  • Execute technical POCs (either on-site or remote) for Attunity prospect
  • Liaise with Product Management and support teams as required to support pre-sales efforts, including POCs


  • 3-5 years’ experiencein SAP industry (with software pre-sales experience as a plus)
  • Experience in an SAP technical or functional area
  • Understanding of the SAP application architecture and system landscapes
  • Basic understanding of SAP data model
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral/written) and teamwork skills
  • Disciplined approach to managing workload and schedule
  • Ability to work in a team environment, onsite and remotely, as well as independently with minimal supervision
  • Technical documentation, organizational and technical presentation skills
  • Language skills beyond English would be an advantage
  • Experience withany of the below technologies would be considered an advantage:
    • Data Warehouses and Big Data
    • Replication or ETL
    • Cloud technology
